Fernando is a well-respected industry veteran who started his career at Tiber in 1981. During the 42 years that he has enjoyed at Tiber he has, together with a handpicked, dedicated and professional management team, built a business that is recognised for its impeccable standards and its reputation for delivering quality projects, both as contractors and property developers.

Jose is Managing Director of Tiber Construction and is a proud member of the Tiber family and unique culture for 30 years. He is passionate about the buildings Tiber build as they reflect who we are.

Being a human resource professional, Leonora, while ensuring compliance with employment laws and fostering a positive work environment, has experience working in specialist areas of Human Resources Development, Skills Development and Transformation.

Mario is a proud member of Tiber Construction for close to 30 years, it has become his family with its unique culture. He is passionate about the construction industry and the buildings that we build, this quality shines through and they reflect who we are.

Arlindo Da Costa

Arlindo Da Costa

CONTRACTS DIRECTOR

Arlindo Da Costa joined Tiber in 2017, as Contracts Director. He has more ten 20 years experience in the construction industry ranging from construction of residential homes to multi-million rand commercial projects. He has expert skills in field operations, cost controls, personnel supervision, and contract management.

Having started his career in March 1999 as a Junior Site Engineer & he working his way up to a Contract Manager and Head of the Health & Safety Department. Fun Fact, he used to be a member of a Hard Rock band and still loves to beat the drums when the urge strikes him.

COMMERCIAL DIRECTOR

Roger Flynn joined Tiber in 2009, to headed up the Commercial Department. His career spans over 35 years in the contraction environment. As Roger’s career indicates, he has an expansive and diverse skill set within the industry.

CONTRACTS MANAGER

Julio can think ‘Out of the Box’ when planning his projects and solving problems. He has the ability to coordinate his suppliers, sub-contractors and motivate his construction team to deliver a great and successful project.

Pishou Nyembwe

Pitshou Nyembwe

CONTRACTS MANAGER

Pitshou started as a trainee site foreman in October 2009 working his way up to a contractor manager. It has been now 15 years since he started at Tiber with a unique construction culture that define our passion and more so who we are.

I have been in the construction industry for the last 30 years, my experience over the last 30 years has been as follows.

    • Housing , town houses and clusters.
  • Commercial
    • Renovations
      • Offices , hospitals, casinos, shopping centers.
    • New builds
      • Office, hospitals, and casinos, shopping centers.
  • Heritage Buildings
    • Renovation of existing Heritage buildings bringing them back to their original state.
  • During my 30 years in construction majority of my time was spent specializing in hospitals and medical facilities (18 years )
Mpumi Nkabinde

Mpume Nkabinde

DEVELOPMENT MANAGEMENT DIRECTOR

Mpumi Nkabinde started off her career as a mathematics instructor for students from standard 5 to standard 10. She then moved to the corporate world where she held management positions in the field of Business Development, Human Resources, as well as Training and Development with reputable organisations including P.G Bison, SAB and Otis. Some of her achievements include expanding markets for United Technologies Corporation (Parent company for Otis) throughout Southern Africa, In 2005 she co-founded Sigma Lifts and Escalators (Pty) Ltd a supplier of LG vertical transportation systems, the company she is currently working for.

Ms Nkabinde also serves as a board member in the following organisations:

She has also served as a board member in the following organisations:

  • Finlay and Associates (Non-Executive Director)
  • SAPOA as a board member

  • Otis Provident Fund (Chairperson)
  • Special Olympics (Deputy Chairperson)

She holds a holds a junior degree, Honours in HRD, Post Graduate Diploma in Adult Education, Graduate Diploma in Property Management and Development and an MBA.
