OUR COMMITMENT TO SOCIAL INVESTMENT
Tiber Construction supports the development and education of the youth in South Africa, as we believe that the country’s future success is hugely dependent on this.
Our major beneficiaries currently are:
TIBER LEARNERSHIPS
Tiber is committed to (SED) Socio Economic Development Programmes that creates sustainable access to the economy for its beneficiaries. We do this by supporting Organisations and programmes that impart transferable skills and enables access to the workplace e.g. Tiber Learnerships.
EDUCATION & YOUTH DEVELOPMENT
This Fund has created a platform for all South Africans, from the public and private sectors, civil society as well as the general public to contribute to one consolidated effort to assist the Government in its efforts to flatten the curve of the spread of the pandemic. We are pleased to announce that Tiber Construction made a contribution to the Solidarity Fund in April 2020 to assist the Fund in its work.
TIBER EMPOWERMENT
Our attitude towards empowerment is that we believe in growth and promotion of previously disadvantaged people within the organisation. For this reason, we still retain a large core of directly employed people and we continuously upgrade the status and position of employees through continuous training and subsequent promotion.
We also currently run a bursary scheme for the children of our employees who wish to study in the field of construction and employ several students from previously disadvantaged communities and are associated with various initiatives that assist disadvantaged children of various ages with education.
In addition to this we seek strategic alliances for specific contracts on a joint venture basis.
We are currently a Level 2 BEE rated enterprise.
